Best and worst trades - April 2018

Markets have been climbing back since the March lows. Stocks that remained in bullish mode have added to gains, other stocks have given new buy signals. Here is how we did last month.

In March Nektar Therapeutics NKTR was our best performer. That move has ended and Stein Mart SMRT has taken over at the top of our table. The Buy signal was given on 5th March when SMRT could be picked up at $0.73. It now trades at $1.91 for a 160% gain in 34 days.
Virtu Financial VIRT takes second place with a 146% gain in 112 days. Short SVXY is third with a 90% gain in 59 days. Those moves are not finished, stocks are held until their next Sell signal (or Buy signal for a short position).

The current worst trades are long SDRL (-14%), followed by long SPPI (-11.7%) and long PVG (-10%). Always trying to keep losses small.
